What it means

At the wedding in Cana, six stone jars for ritual washing were standing in the room. Jesus had them filled with water, and the water became wine. It was His first sign.

He starts with what’s already in the room. Jars for washing became the first sign of the better wine.

If someone asks

“Six stone pots at a wedding. Then the wine happened.”
